The Turbosmart eWG45 utilizes the same valve body dimensions and V-band flange mounting architecture as the pneumatic GenV HyperGate45. This allows direct bolt-on fitment to existing manifold flanges, though physical clearance around the top-mounted electronic actuator unit should be double-checked during installation.

The eWG45 requires a Dual Half-Bridge output driver from your standalone ECU, operating similarly to an electronic throttle body motor. If your ECU lacks available half-bridge outputs, you can integrate the optional Turbosmart BlackBox controller to drive the wastegate using standard PWM or CAN bus inputs.

No reference hoses, vacuum lines, boost solenoids, or base springs are required. The electronic motor directly positions the valve against exhaust drive pressure, enabling fully programmable boost control from zero pressure up to maximum turbocharger output directly through ECU tuning software.
