Because this muffler is constructed entirely from CP1 Grade Titanium, it must be welded using GTAW (TIG) welding with dedicated titanium filler rod and proper argon back-purging to prevent contamination and embrittlement. Stainless steel or mild steel welding equipment should not be used directly on titanium tubing.
