The Aeroflow AF49-1037 Fuel Pump Inlet Filter Screen Kit provides essential pre-pump protection for high-demand competition fuel systems. Engineered specifically for M18 x 1.5 female inlet threads commonly found on Bosch 044 and Aeroflow AF49-1014 in-line fuel pumps, this kit features a high-flow 60-micron synthetic mesh filter sock measuring 135mm in total length.
To prevent fuel flow restriction under heavy engine loads, the filter element incorporates an integrated internal support cage that prevents the synthetic mesh screen from sucking closed during high suction demand. Supplied with a precision CNC-machined black anodised M18 x 1.5 billet aluminium adapter and a chemical-resistant nylon sealing washer, this pre-filter assembly is fully safe for use with pump unleaded petrol, race fuels, and E85 ethanol blends.
