The AutoMeter 2282 Radiator Hose Adapter Kit provides an effective, high-reliability solution for mounting water temperature gauge senders or probes when engine block or cylinder head water ports are inaccessible or restricted. Machined from lightweight, durable aluminum with a natural finish, this straight inline adapter splices directly into 1″ or 1-1/4″ ID radiator coolant hoses, placing your temperature sensor directly in the main coolant flow for accurate gauge readings.
Designed for universal motorsport and performance applications, kit 2282 features an integrated 3/8″ NPT female port and includes a custom 3/8″ NPT adapter designed specifically for mechanical AutoMeter temperature gauges, as well as full compatibility with short-sweep and full-sweep electric temperature senders.
