Prior to the Fuel Bridge, matching an aftermarket gauge to a factory tank often meant forced compromise—you either had to drop the tank to replace the sending unit, or settle for a gauge you didn’t really want.

The AutoMeter 9109 Fuel Bridge eliminates that headache entirely. Acting as an electronic translator, this compact module sits in-line between your fuel sender and your gauge. It reads the resistance signal from your existing sending unit, re-maps it, and outputs a corrected PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) signal to ground, ensuring your gauge and sender speak the exact same electrical language.

Whether you are completing a classic restoration, building a custom drift chassis, or wiring a dedicated drag car, the Fuel Bridge allows you to retain your existing fuel tank and sender while running the AutoMeter gauge of your choice.

Built-In Flexibility & Programming

Setup is a one-time process. Once calibrated, the module retains its memory even if you disconnect the vehicle’s battery. The triple push-button interface and LED display make configuration straightforward.

The unit comes pre-programmed with the 8 most common resistance ranges:

• 240 / 33 ohms

• 0 / 90 ohms

• 0 / 30 ohms

• 16 / 158 ohms

• 73 / 10 ohms (Linear & Non-Linear)

• 10 / 180 ohms

• 40 / 250 ohms

Custom Sender? No Problem. If your sender isn’t on the list, the Fuel Bridge features a custom calibration mode. You can programme specific linear adjustments at 5 exact points (Full, ¾, ½, ¼, and Empty) for any resistance value between 0 and 1000 ohms. The LED screen guides you through the process step-by-step (flashing F, 3, 2, 1, and E).

Low Fuel Warning Capability

To prevent you from ever running dry, the module includes a built-in low fuel level warning. The warning triggers at 10% capacity and automatically switches off once you refuel past 15%. This output can easily be wired to trigger a remote warning LED or a relay on your dash.

Important Compatibility Notes

• Gauge Fitment: The Fuel Bridge is designed exclusively for use with AutoMeter 90-degree Short Sweep Electric (SSE) fuel level gauges.

• Non-Compatible: It is not compatible with AutoMeter Full Sweep, stepper motor, or programmable fuel gauges, nor is it designed to run OEM factory dashboard gauges.
