The Aeroflow XPRO high-torque starter motor (AF4250-5055) is a high-performance Denso-style mini starter designed to deliver dependable starting power for classic Ford 289, 302, 351 Windsor, and 351 Cleveland V8 engines. Delivering 1.4kW (1.9HP) with an efficient 4.44:1 gear reduction ratio, this starter easily cranks engines up to 400 cubic inches with static compression ratios up to 14:1.
Featuring a multi-angle rotatable aluminum mounting block, the AF4250-5055 allows custom orientation of the starter motor body to provide essential clearance around aftermarket exhaust headers, oil pans, and chassis components. Constructed with high heat-resistant internals and finished in durable black powder coating for extra corrosion protection, this unit is fully rebuildable with replaceable plungers and solenoid contacts.
