Frequently Asked Questions

The 3-1/8" electronic speedometer features a push-button 2-mile calibration system. Drive a measured 2-mile distance and press the calibration button; the internal microprocessor automatically stores the speed sensor pulse frequency. No dip switches or calculation formulas are required, and the unit can be recalibrated at any time if wheel sizes or axle ratios change.

AutoMeter 1302 includes a complete sender suite: a 2-wire Hall-effect speed sensor (7/8"-18 thread for GM/Chrysler applications), 1/8" NPT oil pressure sender, 1/8" NPT water temperature sender, and a fuel level sender (240E/33F). Thread adapter bushes for 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT ports are also included.

The included fuel level gauge operates specifically on a 240 Ohms Empty to 33 Ohms Full resistance sweep. While the kit includes a matching AutoMeter fuel sender (PN 3262), it can also be wired to existing fuel tank senders provided they share the exact 240-33 Ohm range.
