The Nitrous Express (NX) Lightning 500 is the first nitrous-specific bottle valve ever produced from lightweight aluminium. If you are looking to eliminate flow restrictions and maximise the horsepower potential of your system, this valve is the ultimate upgrade.

Unlike traditional brass valves that use restrictive 90-degree turns, the Lightning 500 features a 45-degree discharge path. This streamlined design significantly reduces turbulence and prevents the nitrous from “boiling” (turning from liquid to gas) before it reaches the solenoid. The result is a harder, more consistent hit and a system that is far easier to tune.

Billet Construction & Performance

CNC machined from 6061T6 billet aluminium, this valve is not only stronger than standard units but also approximately 0.5lb (225g) lighter. It is engineered with a massive .500″ internal orifice and a .500″ piston lift—the largest in its class—making it capable of supporting nitrous systems up to 2000 horsepower.

Versatile & Future-Proof

This specific variant comes equipped with a siphon tube precision-cut for 10lb bottles. While it comes standard with a -4AN bottle nipple, the valve body is designed with interchangeable fittings, allowing you to upgrade to -6AN, -8AN, or even -10AN supply lines as your power requirements grow.
