Engineered Supercharger Protection
The Aeroflow AF37-0602 Blower Stud Kit is manufactured specifically for high-performance supercharged engine applications. Precision CNC-machined from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminium and finished in silver anodising, these studs act as a sacrificial safety mechanism during extreme engine backfires. In the event of a severe manifold over-pressurisation, the aluminium studs shear intentionally, allowing the supercharger to separate cleanly from the intake manifold to prevent catastrophic housing and engine damage.
Each kit features 2.50″ (63mm) overall length studs paired with high-tensile 12-point steel nuts and hardened steel washers for reliable, consistent clamping force across high-boost motorsport applications.
