No, a custom EFI fuel tank is not required. The included Force Fuel delivery system mounts under the hood and utilizes your existing low-pressure mechanical or electric fuel pump to feed an internal 340 LPH high-pressure pump.
The FiTech Mean Street 800 HP system is engineered for naturally aspirated V8 engines producing anywhere from 200 HP up to 800 HP equipped with a standard 4-barrel intake manifold.
No laptop is needed. Initial setup is done quickly via the provided handheld touchscreen controller, after which FiTech's proprietary self-tuning technology learns and continuously optimizes your air/fuel mixture as you drive.
