Optimised Fuel Enrichment Under Engine Load
The Holley 125-45 single-stage standard flow power valve regulates the power-enrichment circuit in Holley Model 2300, 4150, 4160, and 4500 carburetors. Calibrated to open when manifold vacuum drops to 4.5″ Hg (in. Hg), this lower-vacuum threshold valve is specifically designed for engines equipped with high-duration camshafts that produce reduced manifold vacuum at idle.
When accelerating or operating under wide-open throttle (WOT), the dropping vacuum triggers the power valve to open, enriching the main metering circuit with additional fuel to prevent lean conditions and maximize power output without stumbling or hesitating.
