The mechanical speedometer included in the AutoMeter 1420 kit features a standard 5/8"-18 threaded cable connection on the rear housing. It is calibrated to output 60 MPH at 1,000 cable RPM, making it direct-fit compatible with standard mechanical speedometer drive cables.

The kit includes an electric 1/8" NPT water temperature sender (along with 3/8" NPT and 1/2" NPT adapter bushings), an electric 1/8" NPT oil pressure sender, and a universal 240 Ohm Empty / 33 Ohm Full fuel level sender. The voltmeter connects directly to switched 12V power and does not require a separate sender.

The 0-120 MPH mechanical speedometer requires a 3-1/8" (80mm) dashboard cutout hole. The four auxiliary gauges (water temperature, oil pressure, voltmeter, and fuel level) each require a standard 2-1/16" (52mm) mounting hole. All necessary rear bracket mounting hardware is included in the package.
